Howdy all. I need to find a smaller gentleman style traditional pocket knife to give my dad as a gift. I would like something with a blade smaller then 3" and have white micarta handles. The Al Mar Hawk Classic is one 1 like and he would too but would like some other suggestions. I don't know much about this style knife so could use some help. Thanks

Going to be hard to beat the Al Mar...

Couple options:
Kershaw Leek
Emerson micro-Commander
Pro-tech TR1 or 2 auto; or Calif. compatibles

That's pretty limited/specific!

What about white delrin? For example, google "white delrin knife". One hit is the Case mini trapper:

Or white bone, like the Boker Fellow:

Or this Schrade Old Timer in white bone:

white bone and white delrin are more common than ivory micarta.

I didn't find much with white micarta. Fallkniven Tre Kronor TK3 Pocket Knife Ivory Micarta is $200ish.

Any flexibility on the white micarta handles?

He really likes white micarta. Bone or stag might be a possibility as he likes those on his fixed blades in his collection

You could always pick the design or knife that is most important. Then have one of us service guys put white micarta handles on it. Pretty common, I use as much white as I do OD canvas. I dont do slip joints, but I know guys that will.
Best of luck.

Any price range?

Small Sebenza 21 I'm sure you can find one with white micarta inlay?

I have never seen a CRK with white micarta, plus I think that would look gross lol

Mcusta has a lot of smaller knives that are very visually stunning.

Or how about a GEC 72 or 73 in elk stag?
