On why we deserve a free spyderco.

here is my reasons:

I already own six of them, they make my jobs easier, they are easy to sharpen, they open faster than most knifes, they are easy to carry, they are light weight, I like them alot, your prices are better than most knife companys (cold steel), You have great costomer service.

also I would like a civillian

FLOOSH

Heaven help us when Cold Steel becomes representative of "most knife companies."

I think Timmy deserves the free Spyderco for having the silliest name on the forums. Always cracks me up

well that is the only one I could think up of

I'm also sick of there childish "Trash Talking" (riposite) they are acting a little immiture.

and the best thing about me is the fact that I'm housebroken

T4 -

I don't think that no one likes your suggestion.

However, Spyderco did run a trivia contest giveaway several months ago - you had to answer 10 pretty obscure questions about Spyderco and its products. When the search engine comes back online, look for it. It was a hoot! (Uh, that's a Suthern expression, son!)

T4,

Believe me when I tell you that the manufacturers here on BFC have been very generous. I personally have been a beneficiary
smile.gif
. But in keeping with the spirit around here I tend to think it is in somewhat bad taste to prod a manufacturer to give away some product. [T4 this is not meant as a flame or slam, just constructive feedback]. If memory serves Spyderco has given away 3 knives here already . I would recommend that we leave them with their own counsel as they all seem to do great without our "input".

http://www.bladeforums.com/ubb/Forum20/HTML/000366.html Here is the link to Spyderco's last trivia contest. I kept it because I was lucky enough to be the winner. That Military is the sharpest out of the box factory knife I have ever bought. Thanks again to Danelle and Sal for supporting the forumites, you can bet I will continue to buy SPYDERCOs!!! LONG LIVE THE HOLE!!!

I'm the second lucky forumite to receive a free Military; it has been my daily companion since April! Thanks again to Spyderco and BFC.

John (aka TTTT), you might want to take a shot at the Free Talonite Knife Contest over at KFC. Good luck!

Oh, give Timmy a knife, even though he is a potty mouth.

Sorry, couldn't resist.

Just because I talk to myself doesn't mean I'm crazy. What's wrong with getting a second opinion?

I don't think Bob is bashing KFC or anything...

All in the spirit of fun.

Besides, I also love the Colonel's chicken and sauce, but despise their hot and crispy versions.

I kinda like Popeys myself. A little spicey, but not too spicey.

Now, my wife and kids like the KFC mashed potatos and gravy.

Hey, Prigger I haven't tried Brown's. What makes it better?

Is this a chicken cooking contest or what?

Bob Irons,

You obviously have good taste in fast food style fried chicken - IMHO, I think POPEYE is #1, too!
smile.gif
Popeye biscuits are also very good
smile.gif
! Hmmmmm.....I have an need for some fried chicken and biscuits now!

Getting back to the free knife: I am just content that the manufacturer's representatives and sales folks are able to answer our questions. I wouldn't turn down a plain edged Military though

! LOL
