How about these new Tidioutes?

I am pleasantly suprised with them. Not really a fan of the small knives, but these are rather nice. F&F seems to be superior as well.

Matt, I'm not clear on what you meant. Do you mean you aren't a fan of small knives in general, or that in particular you're not a fan of Tidioute small knives?
 
In general. I never did get very attached to tiny toothpick, pocket hunter, peanut, or even 3 1/2" barlow models. Expect maybe most of my concern was their ability to handle some high impact tasks. But these 3" GEC's are very heavy duty in a little package. Good to have a knife you are not scared to put some pressure on, but won't pull your pants down...

Thanks. I hoped that was what you meant. Good to have such a strong recommendation for the small Tidioute knives--I sure enjoy the Scout I purchased last year.
