how about this PID?

Not sure about the PID but can you use the old thermocouple? These ones usually come with one that only goes to about 700 F. I keep looking them up and I am leary about getting one from ebay (but I still keep looking hehe).

I've helped other folks setup that specific PID. It works well, it's biggest drawback is that the readout is in Celsius. When I first started using PIDs in my shop, Celsius was the only readout available...it was kind of a pain, but I made up conversion charts and hung them by every appliance that had those PIDs on them.....I've since changed them all out to newer models that read either C or F.

I've purchased most of my PIDs from this seller:

He's always been good to deal with and has one of the better PIDs on Ebay.
