How about Worst concert you ever went to?

Not many bad concerts but some i am ashamed to admit going to. One was Paula Abdul when i was 12/13. At that time there weren't any good concerts back in Malaysia so having an international star performing was just exciting. I think i probably was listening to that type of music then anyway.

Then there's Bon Jovi in Malaysia as well. Just didn't do it for me. It was kind of boring. The malaysian crowd weren't that great. Mostly ugly chicks wanting to see a good looking band.

I also went to a Semisonic concert. Some one hit wonder band. My friend forced me to go. I just sat back and watched little kids getting horny. Man i felt out of place.

And a lot of the opening bands i've seen are quite sucky. Saw Coal Chamber opening for Type O Negative. I really hated that singers voice. He would growl though the song and after the song would thank the crowd in a Michael Jackson voice.

Unlike other people i can proudly admit that i went to a JEWEL concert in Royal Albert Hall and i ENJOYED it. Although what was kind of gayish was that i went to the concert with a guy friend. I don't think i had a gf then.

Hank Williams Jr. in Ladsen,SC. he thanked the govenor of Georgia for being there that night. Hank, why do you drink. Why do you blow smoke. Why do you live out the songs that you wrote. Saw more drunks arrested that night than I've ever seen in my life. Rowdy friends they were.

Skid Row, Trent Raznor, Guns and Roses 1990 in Mannheim Germany.. Ugly City, Ugly Violent Crowd. Put me off Rock´n Roll for a while. Bought a suit and listened to 60´s and 70´s soul music for a while to clean my self off that experience.

I went to a nightclub to see the James Cotton Blues Band with my (then) girlfriend in the early 1990's IIRC. The opening band was pretty good but they stayed on the stage for a long time - until around 11:00 PM. Then there was no action for around 45 minutes and the crowd started getting ugly so the club started sending the wait staff around with $1 jello shooters and I indulged freely. Finally, the JCBB comes on stage and starts playing (well after midnight) but where is James Cotton? Finally, Cotton comes staggering out on stage around 1:20 AM - the club closes at 2:00 with last call around 1:30. He's so drunk he can't remember the words to any songs and can barely stand up. I'm so drunk I push my way to the front and stand there just feet away from him booing loudly, giving him the finger, and bellowing "You suck!!!!!!!" After about 5 minutes of this the bouncers drag me from the stage and throw me out the door. My girlfriend followed quietly behind. I was so incensed that I demanded a refund (despite the fact that I was attending on free comped tickets anyway) and one of the bouncers gave me a couple more comp tickets to an upcoming concert just to shut me up and get rid of me.

We got back to the car and we were laughing about the whole ridiculous scene. My GF thought I was nuts but she definitely saw the humor in the whole fiasco. She married me anyway.

Agree with Ms. Denning. Hank Williams Jr. at the Palace of Auburn Hills, MI. I think around '84 or '85. I have always been a huge fan, and was very much looking forward to partyin' with Hank. I don't know if he was very drunk, or very hung-over. Just kinda went through the motions. Seemed like he couldn't wait to get off stage. No emotion or fire at all. I have heard from others that have seen him in concert, that he is either very ON or OFF. This was definately one of his off nights. Still a big fan of his though.

Steven Seagal and his band! Yeah this guy really sucked. The concert was free and we walked out after 3 songs! He tore up Jimi Hendrix's Little Wing so bad I can never forgive him. But all the old ladies were throwing there panties :barf:

Fisherk you must be a pretty old guy like me :D I also saw Wendy O and the Plasmatics. What a show! They blew the top off of a car on stage! You could feel the heat flash go by your face! I don't think they could get away with that nowadays. Seeing her on knees on that giant speaker wow! Sometimes she feels it,sometime she feels it!

Worst would be Tomahawk, one of Mike Patton's groups...way too much feedback...

Frank Zappa (in Seattle, back in the mid '70's)...I love the guy and his music, but I wasn't stoned on acid at the time and the music sucked, not being stoned on windowpane or purple microdot.:D.:D.
With Zappa, I'd guess it would be highly dependant on the year. I could see a lot of people not being enthused with the so-called Roxy band, although that is my fave Zappa era.
