How accurate are your mechanical watches?

I have a Rolex Submariner Date and I've honestly never checked, but I will. I guess it's always been accurate enough and I've never been enticed to actually measure. I've owned the watch for almost 13 years [from new] and it's never been serviced [I know, naughty boy - the cost always scared me away]. It's had the snot kicked out of it too, which is why I bought it in the first place.

Glad I bought the SD then :D

It was only $400 more than the Sub.

Only $400 more - wowza, not any more. AND you're covered to 10 times the depth rating [10 000 ft] :D. The movements are identical [Sea Dweller and Submariner], but the case is VERY different. Hatidua - you just need to get it adjusted.

I have a few autos and they vairy from about +/-2 seconds out up to about +/-6. My most used watch is my Marathon GSAR and that is fast by about 5-6 seconds in 24 hours. The two high end watches I have both gain about 2 seconds in 24 hours.
