How are Chris R. Sebenza's as EDCs

Saftyman: thanks dude!

No problamo...I see you're in Washington State. If you're close enough to me I wouldn't mind meeting you somewhere so you can get an idea of what a Seb feels like before you buy one. Send me a PM if you're interested .

I don't go anywhere without my Small Sebenza 21. I see that you are in WA state, which part? Maybe I can meet you somewhere so you can see why they are so great!

Either that or I can point you to 3 stores that carry them.:o

Dress pants comprise my normal weekday attire so that's when I carry a small Sebenza 21 with the insert in lieu of a clip. Once the weekend rolls around jeans become the order of the day and you'll find a large Sebenza 21 clipped to my pocket. The Sebenza makes a great EDC knife sometimes it just takes more than one ;-)

I was on the fence about a sebe for years, finally broke down and got a "20" (because i like the finger jimping better than the big open hole cut-out, better grip and less chance of accidental closing) and couldn't be happier. I have over 50 knives, been collecting a long time and looking for the ideal EDC. I'm pleased to say this is pretty much it. I have the small sebe, fits my hand perfect, I'm 5'7" with hands a bit on the small side. regardless, can't say enough good things about this knife. screams quality and tight tolerances, solid enough to batton through a log. I've done it. It's a bit on the spendy side, depending on what you're used to, but I think it's more than worth it. If I needed to, I wouldn't hesistate to buy another

in my opinion s30v is a lot easier to sharpen than 154 or vg10, those are actually two of the harder. I think the edge retention is at least comparable if not better. If you have experience sharpening either of those I think you should find this easy
