How are CRK's and water?

Get blood in the knife? Water and soap and no smell afterwards.

I just cleaned a mess of Crappie with mine Saturday. Washed it down with warm water and all is good.

It's two slabs of titanium held apart by a stainless steel blade and held together with stainless steel fasteners. The only issue working around water is remembering to use the lanyard so you don't have to go diving for it.

I have a large carbon fiber 21. I carried it a few different fishing trips since this thread started. But you guys have put my mind at ease. I love when I get over that hump on an item I want to use but can't get the courage to. Then it becomes a favorite and stays close to me.

Google "Chris Reeve Knives Shop Tour" and there are two 15-minute Blade HQ videos that are excellent.

There is also one called "The Exquisite Blade" that is a two-parter, almost 1 1/2 hours each, from 2006. First one is on fixed blades, second is folders. Excellent job on both.

Only thing is you'll want to buy more CRKs after watching them. I did.

And did!

My umnumzaan does just fine sitting in my pocket wet or with just a basic t shirt rub down. It's never been wet for more than a half hour at a time. No rust though.
