How are the GEC Fixed blades?

The #H10s are 7.0 inches OAL. I just picked this one up, today. They're out there in both 1095 and 440C.

I know this is an old thread but I haven’t seen much discussion about GEC fixed blades.

Anyone notice how GEC has changed the blade shape lately? 59C76382-2649-417F-880E-B0396AF28D0C.jpegOn the right is a H10 from 2018. See how the blade spine is different than the H10 in the previous post and the 2021 H 30 on the left in my photo.

I have never bought one, but I sure love the look. I always had too many options for fixed blades.

I really wish they'd bring back those models that resemble a couple of their folders.
That size is right up my alley when it comes to belt knives, but larger than I usually prefer for pocket knives.
So I love the fact that they're like a non folding version of a pocket knife.
I am a bit weird sometimes though, because I have no problem carrying a small little fixed blade that's smaller than the open length of my pocket knife.

I really love the H20, it's a great no nonsense everyday utililitarian knife, that also happens to be hell on a nice steak.
As a kitchen knife, probably great but I'm not one to dedicate a regular non kitchen knife to kitchen duty.

I think they’re fine knives, and I like my H30 much. Small, thin, light weight, and beautiful.
