How are the trac-tec inserts attached to the Blur?

I've heard heating them up with a heat gun/ Hair dryer and using a screw driver or whatnot to scrap them out..

I just carefully got under one edge and pulled very slowly and methodically. I still have the inserts waiting to go back in after I'm done with my project (been a while) but they are ready to go back in whenever I'm done. Pic below:

I just heated them up on the 0400 and pulled slow and steady at a 45* angle. Hmmm... wonder what yous gots in mind!?

I had the anodization blasted off my ZT0400, didn't have to take the inserts off.

Been thinking of doing G10 or CF inserts on my Salvo, but I guess it would be good to remove the trac-tecs and have them intact

Is it some of that orange CF you showed off on the 0300? I'll try and take a look see around to find it ;)

I think it was you. It was orange. So I'm gonna go ahead and say it was.

I bought a salvo off the bay it was used a good price showed up with no inserts on it..Kershaw hooked me up:thumbup:

Thanks guys. I know I could put them back on with super glue, but is there a better method?

I definitely do for this... you'll see.

I would use something "rubberized" in case you would happen to want to get them back out. Most any kind of rubber adhesive/cement seems like it would work.

I know they make blue twill, but what if they made orange twill  S.O. might have a heart attack!
