How are you carrying your Izula?

best place to buy? is it a good survival knife?

I think its a great knife. Can be used for all small survival tasks and even some larger ones. Ive seen a video on youtube with a guy using it to split wood. Its also a perfect size for a small EDC fixed blade. For "survival" you might want to consider one of R.A.T's larger knives. As for online stores, read this thread.

Thanks for all the relies folks. For those of you who neck carry, are you using paracord, leather, or something else?

Ball chain. I found paracord was to abrasive for my skin. The ball chain is smoother and in essence rolls over my skin. It doesn't absorb or trap dirt and oils and is less suspicious looking. I imagine most people assume it's dog tags. Another tip, especially if you're using the stock sheath; I drilled two holes instead of using the larger cord hole. This prevents the knife from spinning around while wearing it so it's always oriented for my right hand.

I carry mine in a neck lanyard that I made out of a very thin piece of purple paracord. When asked about the string, I reply "it was a gift from my daughter". never a second glance

Do you have a good source for quality chain? I kinda like that idea. I just dont want to buy a spool of it.

Thanks,

I tried several different carry positions and the best I found was standard belt vertical on the right side, there it stays concealed very easily and never gets in the way.
