Here's a Re-work I came across some years ago on a flea-market. I'd be surprised if those blades have even been hardened, maybe someone's school project

At least yours has nice scales...I'd pull that apart and put a good blade in it.

Hmmm the knife Jack Black has has great frame and covers, but crappy blades eisman has a knife with good blades, but crappy frame and covers. Definitely looks like Jack's knifes blades belong to eisman's knife,and vise versa. Now next question is does Jack still have his and is it in that condition still. I think a blade swap is in order lol, but who keeps which knife

The scales are original, as is the frame. I suspect it was made by William Rodgers. Maybe the original blades were heavily worn, but the replacements look like they were made by some hacksaw-wielding idiot!

I got it in a job-lot, think it cost around £2. I forget what happened to it, I think I just chucked it out, certainly don't have it now. Good idea, though I don't think the blades would have fitted any better!
