I have a few that I have amassed over the last several years. No reproductions here, all originals dating from 1930s, 40s and 1950s era.
Imperial and Hammer Brand mainly. Yeah it took a while to acquire all this stuff, passion is all it takes!:D
Let's see yours!

Splendid collection!! What a pleasure to see!! I have one hammer brand jack knife just like in your collection. It was gifted to me by Pete, my good friend, and one of our brothers. So interesting to see how it would have been sitting in its display, back in its heyday. Thanks for the look.

Thank you Gevonovich for the nice story and I'm glad I was able to show you the way they were sold in stores.

Obviously after finding many of these knives, I cleaned them thoroughly. But after all, they are cheap and once you put them on the cards, you want them to look right.:D

Those would have been the days.
VERY NICE.
Thank You for sharing your collection with us.

Staring at the photos of your displays made me feel like I had just stepped into a time machine!
Thank you for taking the time to share your obvious passion with us, great stuff and well done!

After looking at these again I had to check out my keyboard to see if I had a "cents " key. I do not. I guess not much costs under a buck these days and the symbol is being phased out.

I get what you're saying there but if you do want a "cents" symbol, hold down the ALT key while entering 0162 on the keypad on the right side of your keyboard. Release the ALT key and the "cents" symbol will appear. ¢

My .02¢ :)

Wow! Fantastic! You are spoiling us Singin50 :)

That is a great collection of knives and displays :) I can see them being great conversation pieces in your home. They bring back memories for many, and for the young'uns, brings out curiosity :) Very nice, sir! :)

Excellent collection thatr represents a lot of work. I almost got into collecting those when I saw old Ideal brand boards being closed out at a gun and knife show. Ideal had been closed some time already by then and I balked at paying more than the listed price per knife. :)

There were Barlow packs, jacks, and Boy scout/camp style best I can recall. They were being grabbed up faster than I could make up my mind.
