Figured I would break out the MOAB for a few swings to help pass some time while we are waiting tonight. Enjoy the vid :D

Basically you have a nice, heavy bladed 1311 with a superb handle. Excellent blade. This vid troubles me a bit: some of the cutting angles seem precarious. The margin for error is zero. ER docs would have a melee on their hands dealing with a missed target. I think the 1311 would be faster in the mit but not near as robust.

The MOAB knife is seriously sweet. I almost like it as much as the Anniv. LE that Busse is still offering. Smooth, gorgeous knives offered for those who want to fork over the dough. Lines on the MOAB are as graceful as can be!

Care should always be taken into consideration regarding your stance when swinging big blades, especially the MOAB. Trust me, first thing I do before swinging this monster is to make sure if somehow I miss the target, my legs/feet are nowhere near that vicinity. Notice my extra wide stance. If I were to miss the 2x4, the blade would go directly into the ground, or have a glancing blow, it would go to the ground.

You don't hold the MOAB in your hand without thinking, "I better be careful with thing thing" LOL   :D

Yea there is not much comparison between the two. Maybe Rob can post a comparison pic showing size and spine shots. I love my 1311 and would probably use it more often than the MOAB but there is this epicness to that knife that is unreal. That sexy blade shape, the fact that it weighs more than the tree your trying to chop down and ...... well...... Its just awesome!

Here you go, MOAB and 1311 together. Not even close...

Truly Graceful with Massive Power what's not to like about a MOAB.... Great Vid Bro!!!!!

Can you get a comparison shot of the MOAB chopping the 1311 in half please. Then he will understand.

Awesome stuff!!!! The MOAB really is a one of a kind knife. Great video man! They bite hard for sure.
