How bout this for a "hollow grind"?? pics.

Ok guys, this was the result of my work last night. My first shot at hollow grinding. It's not perfect, but its close. Of course it is also only roughed in. The blade still has to be heat treated. I got everything else done today except for the thumbstud. That, and I have to stamp something into the blade. I found a company that will hard coat black anodize the handles for me for $10.00! I'm taking them monday to get them done. I wanted something like gunmetal gray or a darker gray, but he said it would be special order and cost a lot more. I'm gonna stick with the black...I think it will look good.

How do you guys stamp your names into your blades? How do you come up with a signature? I don't really want to put my name, I would rather come up with a company logo or symbol or something. I guess I could draw whatever I need in cad/cam, and then mirror it, cut it out, heat treat the stamp and use that, but I really don't want to have to go through all of that trouble if there is an easier way. What do yall think?

This is prolly the last time you will see this knife uncompleted. The next pics will be of the finished knife, so look out for it in the next week or two. Thanks for looking guys and thanks for all the help!

That is a very respectable first hollow grind. I think most folks send their first (few) efforts into the trash. Well done.
