How can I remove or reverse anodizing on Ti?

I have a non-smooth surface which was ano'd and I don't like it. Can it be undone?

Bead blasting is the way to go.

yep, you'll need to abrade it off, so depending on the level of surface detail, blasting it or tumbling it would work. I'm not an expert in those sorts of things, but if you post a pic, or a better description, I bet someone here has a good idea of what you could use to get it done.

Bead blast with ceramic grade glass beads and it will be fine. If you want to re-ano it you'll need to polish it or something along those lines or the ano will come out satin.

Its sodium hydroxide for aluminum anodize removal, I don't know if its the same for titanium or not.
