How can I spot a chinese fake?

I should also add that after a few very helpful emails to CRK, I thought it would be best to just purchace from a reputable dealer.

(Which I did - anxiously awaiting delivery!)

Authenticity is guaranteed, and the purchase supports the manufacturer and dealer directly. For the potential $50-$100 I could have possibly saved on flea bay, it just wasn't worth it. YMMV
 
It seems original to me.
I've never seen chinese copy with "idaho made" on the handle.

Is this true? I sure hope so. I just bought my first CRK (Large Insingo) off of the bay from an apparently reputable dealer, but after seeing so many fake threads recently, I'm sweating bullets thinking that I'm going to get burned with a fake.
 
Plenty of New and LNIB CR Knives can be purchased right here on Bladeforums at a good price without the risk of buying a fake. There's not much need to venture out into the sordidness of ebay when most anything you could ask for is right here.
