A better folder than they have already made? Maybe some high end steel for the 200's and 300's? I don't see how they could be made much better. What do the other ZT addicts think?:)

I expect to see more and more kvt in future knives. Otherwise there will be new designs that people love. Kai is an awesome company with some truly talented people working for them. I will be honest though I believe as time passes there will be more variations of the 056x knives. Which is my favorite design on the market right now.

I don't know but I've been bitten by the bug. I have a 550, 551, and a 350 on the way to compliment my 560. Honestly the next ZT I buy will be the 560CBCF when it comes out eventually.

I wish they would make a smaller 560, that would be the perfect knife and would boot all other knives out of my pocket and I suspect many others on here as well.

They would call it an 0550 variation. Although I'd love to see one with kvt and a flipper

At the price points they sell them at I'm not sure that ZT could make something better than they already do, just different. As I've discussed in another thread, I have had some minor problems with my 0560 and 0561. The minor issues have been resolved, in one case by ZT Customer Service and in one case by myself with some help from a bunch of people here on the forum. To me "better" would be to catch these minor issues before they get out the door. This would require tolerance changes and more inspection and would increase the prices, probably substantially. I'm sure that KAI, like any business, pays close attention to their warranty costs and has made a decision that X% warranty cost provides them with the optimum balance of revenue vs. warranty cost and customer satisfaction. Absolutely consistent perfection isn't attainable and even if it were none of us could afford it.

What would make a better ZT for me? A 560 that's the size of the 0550 and without the flipper would be nice. The lower priced production version of the 0777 I was musing about in that thread would be another good one for me.

I would like to see the 0550 with a composite blade, or a limited run in different steel. I am by no means ragging on S35VN either. I just like flavors to choose from :). I would love to see a Tim Galyean designed Zero Tolerance as well.

I would like to see some carbon steel versions. A 1095 200 or W2 200 would be cool.

They already did one (the 0700) and it has been discontinued already.

Maybe a 550/551 flipper. Like other have stated...a flipper the size of the XM 18 3.5...KVT etc.

I know Zt's all bout strength and hard use but they fill a spot in the market no manufacturer hits. once they produce some slimmer lighter and smaller designs they will dominate.
they have great designs, materials quality and value. they are just as good or better than many of the mid-techs out there and they cost a fraction.....

Yeah, I have recently gotten hooked as well. It all started with a 560, then I got a 550BLK, now I got a 551 coming, a 350, and another 550. May even buy a blem 550 Gen 2 to swap out the TI side on the 551. I now have found that I need a 0200, 0121, and a 300. I think I am toast... I have caught this bug pretty bad, and that is to complement the knockout and Leek I just got.

It seems I will be dumping some "other knives" soon to get more.
