how centered are your blades... REALLY?

I have a Queen minihunter linerlock where the blade is perfectly centered when the blade is closed, but open - it is off and the blade leans to one side by about 3 degrees. It bugs me. Most of my knives are either perfectly centered when closed, or close enough. All but this particular Queen have blades that are straight when the knife is open and the blade is out - it is off a little. I think that the blade was off a bit and ground to produce a centered blade - or it was krinked. It seems like a lazy way out to make a knife with a single blade.

Multi-bladed slipjoints typically have their blades canted to one side to allow the opposing blade to nest alongside of it. So they are not perfectly centered when open, but the offset is too little to be a problem in use.

I must have just been lucky, my Sage 2 is dead on centered, lockup is prefect and it opens and closes as smooth as any knife I've ever purchased once it was broken it. If I remember correctly it may have felt a bit gritty opening and closing the first week or so but now it's the knife that I compare any new Ti frame-lock against....even at more than twice the price.
Good luck.
