They have the American Lawman.
They have CPM 3V.

CPM 3V + American Lawman = production AD-10.

Begging you pardon, Mr. Comeuppance, but isn't the handle shape of the Rajah more like the AD-10?

Also, where are they using 3V?

Edit: Scratch my eyes out, the Warcraft series is 3V.

Not that I doubted Comeuppance, I just wasn't paying attention, apparently.

I see what you're saying about the Lawman, too. It's almost like CS split parts of the AD-10 into the Lawman and Rajah.

Cold Steel should have just started with a factory version of the AD-10, and they would have been years ahead.

I just looked at some pictures and I would say it looks like a mixture of both, handle wise. Overall it looks more like the Lawman.
Bacardi and cola do it. Do it.
 
3V, or even S30v on my Recon, Voyager, and Code4 and their only Achilles heel is no more. Ive said it before, it would turn their current knives into world beaters. All hail Demko and his lock.
 
I've always liked the Lawman, just thought the prices were a little high for what you get. But I totally agree with you, Uppy.
 
I love my Lawman but I also only paid like $20 for it at a junk store. For $55 it does seem like you should get a little more for your money, especially since you can get an Endura in S30v for 5 bucks more.
 
I would buy too many of these.
Add a wave feature and I will never need another knife...
 
Yes, that would be unbelievably awesome. Not sure Mr. Demko would be to happy with that. Might cut into his custom sales.

The irony will be, and I do believe it's a matter of time until they release an even more hard core folder with 3V, is that people will bitch "it's still just a cold steel knife" or "$120 for a Taiwan folder, no thanks".
 
Meh. If it shot out rainbows it wouldn't blow my mind or dent my pocket. Not a CS fan. And besides, CS's model isn't emptying the wallets of the small market represented by BF knife obsessives, it's emptying the wallets of a wider, more general public. It's a good model. Makes them a load of money.
 
Yea, not sure what Endura he's talkin about because spyderco doesnt make it in s30v.
I didnt think Cold Steel would ever break free from the AUS8 dungeon.
I also didnt know mall ninja's cared about steel quality ;)

Probably true in General.....probably not true in the CS subforum.
 
Yeah I thought it was only vg-10 and zdp-189 unless you get a sprint run.

3V Recon 1? I'd be down with that. Hell, a 3V Espada XL would be a dream!
