how come.......

For 175 dollars I can get a very nice custom made bushcrafter from any of the makers on these forums, and 99.99% of em are a heck of a lot less ugly than that thing...

Not any of the makers, but I agree some of them and they are fine products :D :D

i know the original temperance was designed with utility and self defense in mind so that pointy blade shape is a plus.

You want micarta on the falkniven? Guess what, you are going to pay >$200.00.

Unless you buy a blank, a couple of micarta scales, some corby bolts and do it yourself. Then you can have one for less than $150 :D

Frankly, I would not have purchased the Bushcraft knife were it not reduced to $90.

No way would I pay full boat for a Spyderco Temperance. I can buy a better, custom made knife right on this forum.

It's not that I don't have any 'love' for it, it's just that I can do better for the money.

The knife looks a little strange, but it looks as though the handle is comfortable and that it would work well in the kitchen or for other cutting chores. Blade shape reminds me a lot of some 6" Utility/Chefs knives I've seen. I'd have one if I had the money.
