It looks like Case has actually gone and discontinued the pattern 08 half whittler 😭😭
This is my Favorite Case pattern and I was actually looking to buy another CS white smooth bone to customize when I couldn't turn anything up.
I wasn't buying many of them because they only had 2 carbon steel offerings and I really don't like that pocket worn grey bone, but I always had my fingers crossed that they'd release more Carbon steel that I could buy.

If they weren't selling that well I understand, but it still bums me out.

I feel your pain.

I tried ordering a black synthetic Case Punch Stockman (not that I needed it, but I kinda wanted all three versions) It's been back ordered for a year and a half now. I suspect Case may not ever make another one.:(

Oh well, these two will last me a good long time.

There has been many times I decided to buy another knife from a company only to find they stopped making them. There’s been several Bucks over the years that I can’t believe are no longer made.

I, too, scratch my head over Case's decisions on what knives to produce. How many years has it been since they mad a 92 stockman?
The quintessential 4" square bolster stockman: how could they not make it in a variety of handles and steels? o_O

On a factory tour many years ago I asked the same question. At that time I was told a lot of the old pattern dies were either destroyed or what they could use for new patterns was done. At the time my question pertained to the 35 1/2 pattern.
