  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

How did you first come across Becker knives?

Researcing survival knives, watching Adams videos, watching other knife reviewers on youtube, the BK2 just kept popping up. I finally caved and got one and started customizing it. In my search for new ideas to take my BK-2 customization further, I found this wondrous place.

I'm almost ashamed to admit this, but my first look at a Becker knife came while I was watching Tactical Knives TV (brought to you by SMKW).... that lead me to spend some time here on the forum listening/reading the bantering and snarking of the Beckerheads, and that in turn lead me to purchase a BK4, which has made me start lusting over getting a BK9 which of course would need to be Clich'd, which obviously of course would demand some Skystorm pants... it's a vicious, vicious circle.

A fairy maiden appeared out of the sky and handed me a BK-9.

I was wasting time on YouTube and stumbled upon a bunch of reviews, one memorable video was done by wayfinder15.

I was researching my Kabar and saw these knives that fit exactly what I'd been looking for. It was about 10 minutes after that I found the BK&T forum here and maybe a year later when I finally took the plunge and started my Becker craze. I got a 14, 10, and 13 all within a month. Since then I've picked up a 7, 15 and 16 as well.

A close friend said he had something for me. Drove over to his house and he handed me a green box.
It was a Serrated BK2.

I first heard about BK&T from an officer I worked with that carried a BK3. I was a big Benchmade fan at the time. I found this site and begin selling off some of my Benchmade collection and discovered this sub forum. Next thing I know I'm buying every damn Becker knife there is. :D Been a Becker fan every since.

I have seen photos of them for many years, mostly the BK2. When I got on this forum I discovered that they made other models.

I'm just going to quote this again because I stinking love this pic. Good times taking it too :P

Oh and FAL'ER slipped me the becker drug in the form of an 11. Good dude fo sho.

I was given a Bk9 by my cousin. I knew nothing about them. I thought it was a nice knife, but he had sold me on benchmades the year before so I was confused as to what was so special about the knife. He told me to read about it online. I found this forum. Yeah, that pretty much did it.

Dont be hatin X, Im just wasting time, learning and cracking a joke everynow and then. Save the shankings for the wicked.

Sorry if my post sounded like a threat (that is not me in the picture), it wasn't meant to. I was kidding, I was hoping to see a certain picture with a BK9 in it as an answer to the hairy hippy comment, I'm creepy that way I guess.

For me it was coming to this forum and seeing all the modified Beckers. I'm always looking for a different knife that just clicks the Beckers certainly work for me. Started with a BK9 and now have a BK15 with a BK2 on order.

I came across them on Amazon researching highest reviewed knives for zombie attacks. Actually put the BK2 on the list long before coming here and seeing the glowing reviews and recommendations for it.

same. although i was looking for a survival type knife as opposed to one for zombies. i guess all things considered, they can be one in the same.
