How did you spend your time when BF was down?

The first day or so, I was in denial. I thought there was a glitch with my computer. I tried to fix it like an idiot. Even if my computer was acting up, I would probably be doing more harm then good.
The second day, I started having withdrawals. Ended up spending some time at other forums. It was enough to appease my forum needs, but it didn't feel like home.
Throughout the week, I was able to get a good amount of yardwork/landscaping done, so it was not lose for me.

Thanks for the condolences... although I've been VERY lucky compared to other parts of the state... we've had minor leaking and contained water damage and were able to pump most out... I have friends in the towns that were evacuated and whatnot, it's some crazy stuff...

... we're used to some flooding up here, but not to this scale!

While BFC was down I visited other forums, did research on knives I like and want, and got alot more work done :>)

I wrote a mini book, caught up on my reading, lifted weights and waited for my parole date...

Tough break Rugby Jeeves, I hope it works out for you up there it looks like you are getting hammered with water on the news and some dam is supposed to be ready to burst.

I went on a cruise to Bermuda. Really - I did - but I had booked the cruise months ago and I didn't know BF was down until I came back. ;)

I hung out on a farm, with some chicks.

(real chicks, that lay eggs):(

Trying to fly the Apache helicopter. Well, virtually anyway. I got copies of two defunct rotary-wing games, Longbow 2 from Jane's, and Enemy Engaged, Apache vs. Havoc from Razorworks. Both date from about 1999.

Both good sims, the Longbow perhaps a bit more detailed regarding cockpit/flight model accuracy, and the EEAH sporting somewhat nicer graphics.
Unfortunately, the last in the series, Enemy Engaged Comanche/Hokum, is very hard to find. Copies on Amazon are going for over 70 bucks!

I joined EDC forums & reseached cameras in hopes of buying a new one for a buddy's wedding in Vancouver in the late summer.
