How did you spend your time when BF was down?

I played a lot more Diablo II than I usually do(which is still a lot, by the way).
 
well at first tiptoed over to kf, then just sat in the house turning the lights on and off. really need to get a life at some point, later, ahgar
 
I knitted me a pair of chaps and a cowboy hat. Other than that I was extremely bored.
Danbo , you still play D2 ?? Man that used to be my crack fix game... What character do you play best ? :cool:

me too. I also spent a lot of time playing Thief, and Thief 2, lots of Thief, and D II, and Thief, and "I'll get you now, tapper":o
 
Yep, I still play a lot of Diablo II. I still find it very addicting. Plus, I now know how to distribute the skill points more effectively. I still love the Sorceress.
 
I was at a bit of a loss at night times, and eventually asked a technical Newsgroup I frequent to check that BF was really not reachable. They said it wasn't so now a lot of people know I'm a knife nut :) Eventually in boredom, I found EDC Forums, Death's Head and Ryan, who confirmed BF was really down. I saw Bubba Catfish too. I also found details on a flashlight where the beam is so powerful it can ignite paper in 13 seconds!

How does one do that? Hit it randomly with a hammer? Squirt it with a garden hose? :D

I spent my time alternating between weeping, whining, and screaming.

I play Medal of Honor (old one) online on the pc. Only game I ever play online- I suck at all the others.:rolleyes:
 
The first day I figured it was just my computer acting up. By the second day I realized Bladeforums was down. The third day, I went into a full scale withdrawals:p So to fill the time I:

-Cleaned up my room, organized things a bit more
-Spent a lot more time at the Spyderco forums.
-Discovered EDC forums.
-Hopped around a bunch of other forums.
-Played some Fallout 2.
-Worked
-Cut grass
-Touched up all my knives
-Read a couple of books
-Updated my blog

Trying to reset the modem, defragmentating the hard drive (whatever that is), turning the power on and off? I was like a frustrated chimp.

It wasn't too bad, I ground a couple of blades the first couple of days. By last Friday I had a 16'x16' harbor freight polyethelene tarp spread out on the basement floor and I sat on an old wooden orange crate in the middle of it with the barrel of my S&W model 15 in my mouth listening to Green Day's song J.a.r. on repeat on the cd player. That was good for about 18 hrs.
