How do I carry the khukri?

Anybody got any advice on how to carry these large friends in the field? Is the Gorkha way the right way for military usage? How does SOF-guys and SWAT carry it?
I'd be glad for advice....

Right handers usually carry on left side and use crossdraw.

Check out the quickdraw posts (from Ray C I think) awhile back for a great variation on the usual carry--it is worn around behind and can be drawn with one hand (provided your scabbard isn't really tight or you might give yourself an atomic wedgie). I'm not sure if the old archives are searchable any more? Hope so, cause its a great option for field work when you need one hand free while your getting ready to cut.
