How do i close a schrade x timer tactical knife?

its the one with a red handle and black blade, i just go it and its locked in place and i cannot close it.
 
Is it a new Taylor Schrade product? I looked on Google and see red X timer liner locks, did you try pushing the liner over off the tang with your thumb? If it's that complicated then I would imagine it would come with instructions.
 
Is there a secondary locking system blocking the travel of the liner, such as a LAWKS system?
Can you take a couple pictures of it?

Have you seen a xt7 in red?
 
Feeling gooder. Nope, not in red. But I haven't been watching what is now being imported either. As far as I can remember (which isn't far), these were the only two folders in the XT series by Imperial Schrade. Unless we count the three black lightweights. But they weren't X-Timers, were they?

If OP's knife is like the first one above, depress the lock on the back of the knife and it will close.
