How do I repost a thread

I have a thread a few weeks old and I would like to repost it.
How do I go about that? How do I get rid of the old one so I don't double post?
Thanks from a new seller.

As long as you're past the 2 week requirement, just repost it. You can't delete it, and the mods won't remove it.
I recommend closing the old ad - done using the thread tools menu - unclick the Open box. (You can also edit the post - so you can remove some/all of your content)

As HH said, once past the 14 day repost limit, just close the thread and post a new one. You can change the title if you wish:
To edit a thread title, go to opening post in the thread. At the top right is "thread tools". Mouse over it and you get a drop down menu. From the menu, click "edit thread". That gives you a popup window from which you can edit the thread title.

I find that the easy way to repost the content of your thread is :

1) Before you close the old thread for ever - EDIT - while in the edit window, SELECT ALL and copy.
This will save all the text and place mark your photos but will NOT save the various text styles - such as italics or colors.

2) Start your new thread. PASTE everything you saved from the old thread.

3) If you like go back to the old thread - edit to show that you have re-listed and then CLOSE that thread. Go to thread tools (same as for changing the title) and select/deselect OPEN. The thread is now closed.

4) Back to your new thread - add photos and edit as needed. Post and you are good to go.

Good luck with the sales.

Ray

AND - you should spell check the title of this thread ;)

For the record - you can edit, or even add posts to, your own thread after it is closed.
