how do I sharpen my camp tramp?

Just got my first camp tramp and the previous owner sent it to the swamp to get a new edge and penetrator tip. The edge is to thick to grind down with a lansky and that is the only way I know how to sharpen. How do I get it razor?:confused:
 
Send it to Bob Dozier or Tom Krein, They'll get er' crazy sharp!!

If you want to adjust the edge angle then just grind it down with an x-coarse stone. They start at about $5 at a hardware store. You are just adjusting the angle so you do not need to be precise or accurate.
