How do i start knife making?

First off i apologize if this is the wrong place to post this i just didnt see anywhere else..
I have always loved knives and just recently was thinking about getting into knife making. Ive looked at videos and stuff but i havent learned anything about shaping a blank and sharpening techniques etc.. I have a full machine shop at my disposal to make anything i want (cnc mills, cnc lathes, bridgeports, grinders, sanders, drill presses, access to heat treating, anodizing and powder coating and the whole deal) I know that making fixed blades is the easiest but eventually id like to make prototype folders. What are some good sources for information for the things im looking for? Im 20 so i could have a long future ahead of me for this hobby or career if i sell anything.. Any help from the knife making veterans would be greatly appreciated! Thanks guys.
