How do I win that knife on the home page? I checked the faq and it doesn't say. Did I miss something?

My understanding has always been that you have to have posted something with knife content during the month (to be eligible to win), then when Spark posts his "Pick a number..." you pick your number, post it, and then the closest to his guess wins.

Have I been doing it wrong, all this time?!?

If you have posted within that month, then youa re eligible. The "pick a number" thing is for fun. Well, Spark takes the first posted number that matches a number assigned to those who posted in the month. The numbers are assigned randomly.

everyone is assigned a random number. spark will post asking for a number between blank and blank. he then picks a number,if that person has posted at least once during the month,then you win.if the member picked hasnt posted once during the month,another number is chosen...it keeps going until someone wins.
simple,right?
