how do ya store your knives???

I keep some in my Browning safe, and the other in an old safe that came out of an old drug store and has lots of drawers.

I've got a stand up display case that cost under $100 at IKEA (they rock), just can't remember the exact price. It's got glass on all sides, and has four levels to display items. Works great for folders or large fixed blades. Add some clear stands from a crafts shop and you've got a nice looking display at an affordable price. Just wish it would lock....

Colinz: Sorry I was unable to answer sooner. Here is the web site where I purchase my displays. Be sure to order the "Riker Display" in 3" depth, not 2". You have to order the 3" specially, as it is not shown on the web site. The best is the walnut 12" x 18" x 3". You can also get angled walnut easels to keep the display upright.

The only problem you might have is that many display companies will not ship glass top display cases overseas, due to breakage.

I went to one of them State/federal surplus stores and a surplus store that has crap from businesses that GO OUT of Business. For ZIPPO, FREE I picked up a locking 6 level electric revolving showcase the used for watches!!!!. I plug it in and it light up inside and revolved. Now, just gotta figure how and wht to use to "cradle" each knife. What an awesome case for free, They say there are thousands of these all over for 5-20 bucks. Now HOW do I cradle each knife? Open or closed? AND what should I use as a cradle?????? Thanks and when I figure how to load pics I will show you and they are getting about 100 more in!!!!!!!
They LOCk, come with a key, have an on off switch!!! someone E-mail me at wolfmann@aol.com, tell me HOW to post a pic and I will GET ya ONE+!!!!!!

With the exception of my EDC's I keep my knives in one of those Bladeforums knife bags and stick it in my gunsafe.:)

Theoretically, I store all my knives in my gun safe, but the darned things keep migrating out. They seem to like the living room and the end table next to my easy chair best, and after that, they seem most comfortable here on my computer desk!

Willfull teenaged knives. What can ya do?
:D

Thanks all!! I keep most of my high-end stuff in gun safes, but also use stackable rolling 6-drawer set-ups you can buy for $20 or so at Office Depot. I do seal the pieces that will fit in Zip-Lock bags though.
