How do you carry a backpocket?

Surely that's "The Can Do" spirit??:D

Wanna do might me more appropriate given this crowd but that's probably a topic better suited for W&C or the "Cove"...;)

They probably aren't allowed to have back pockets over there. Either that or there's no room in their backpockets for a knife with the tax man's hand in there too!

Be that as it may, tax and international knife laws are beyond the purview of this sub-forum so we'll let those sleeping dogs lie.

It seems that the gauntlet (or purse, as the case may be) has been thrown. The battle cry resounds. We shall be lucky to escape an all encompassing inferno of war!

(I always feared it would finally come to this. Fortunately, the complex of bunkers at Wilfred Works is the perfect place from which to direct and marshal our forces. :p)
Meet you there. I'll bring the whiskey and at least one scattergun.

I carry lots of different knives in my back pocket... Trappers, lockbacks, stockmen, etc. Right now, my wallet is bein' kept company by a stockman.

With all the buying that goes on around these parts I'm almost surprised that anyone has need of a wallet any longer... :p

(...Well, I guess you still need something to hold your driver license and insurance cards...and to hold the knife of your choice in a vertical position. :D)

I don't carry in my back pocket, but if I did, I'd either sew my pocket so it fits the knife snugly, or have a sheath made for it that has a clip.

Just be careful how much you put in your back pocket. A big wallet with a knife may put pressure where it doesn't belong. Many men get lower back pain from their wallets, however, it may also have something to do with the size of their posterior :) in contact with what's in the pocket.

That's why I started carrying a rite-n-the rain note pad in my other pocket to level out my seating posture. I haven't had any back problems since then.

[tongue-in-cheek] Probably because they use purses... [/tongue-in-cheek]

Ben lad,
Down here there are no purses, to us Kiwis it just doesnt seem that hard...have a knife?...put it in your pocket-done :D
Its interesting about people commenting on the lower back problems...I was "reminded" by my Chiropractor the other day about the size of my wallet, and how it just totally messes things up, Im not complaining, she is a hell of a woman, and she can wrench me round as much as she sees fit-whew!

I hope no one get's upset if I carry a bp in my front pocket on occasions. :D.

Duncan, Not to get totally off-topic, but I thought you might find this interesting.

A few years ago, I was having major neck problems. I couldn't turn my head past like 10 and 2 o'clock. I raced motocross and thought it had to do with some of the crashes. After a few years and a lot of doctors I went to a chiropractor who showed me an xray of my hips. My right hip was totally messed up and he told me it was from my wallet. Tired of hurting, I got a smaller wallet and started carrying it in my front pocket. After a few months, no more neck pain. Ever.

Interesting how my hips didn't hurt, but they caused my neck so much trouble.

It took some time getting rid of everything I had in my wallet, but this is all I carry now.
