How do you carry a fixed EDC

Being half awake as I read this passage of your post "depending on where the belt buckles on my pants/shorts are. I like the leather sheaths, but I am apparently hard on them (as they keep loosening up on me)", I read it as "I like the leather shorts....."
It definitely made me stop, and reread, lol

A lot of manufacture's small edc come with a pocket sheath, but they can wander around your pocket unless you have some sort of clip.

I carry this Evans on my belt in a cross draw, I had to a thingy (I forget what the name of it is) that is a strap with a snap fitting on the end the attaches it to my belt.

How about a neck knife, I love this White River Knucklehead.

Wow. That is funny.

Of course, reading your quote, I realize that I meant "belt loops".... sigh. I guess I wasn't awake when typing it.

Have fun.

If I do carry my Guardian 3 I'll carry it horizontally cross draw in the front of my left hip or scout, but not as frequent because I can't see to reholster it

Horizontal carry works great with a small, lightweight knife.
This one is 2.8oz with sheath. 2 7/16" blade and 5 3/4" overall.

All small fixed blades, with 7"oal being the largest pictured. All discretely carried and comfortable.

I've carried IWB with a esee 4 using the metal clip plate.

I also like carrying that blade upside down ONE (draw is down instead of up). This works well when wearing tighter clothing or jackets etc as I don't have to pull my shirt up to draw.

But IMHO, discrete carry of a fixed blade depends on a lot of factors. How fat is the handle? Must be a kydex or other polymer sheath with eyelet mounting options and good retention..... and you will have to try a lot of options to see what works for you.

That's a cool, very compact looking setup. Q: when you draw, do you have any issues with the edge hitting your belt loop?
Not at all, the belt loop is only to keep the tang close to the belt, when I draw I put the belt loop aside.

Interesting. How tight/loose is the paracord? I love my rhino, BTW.

Horizontal front carry is great for standing, but as a guy with belly baggage I can't say horizontal is very comfortable sitting down. I have been doing handle-up or at an angle, towards the side more.
