How do you carry your Chris Reeve knife/knives?

Being new to the forum (and also a new proude owner of CRS Large Regular) I wondered about the function of the lanyard? Esp. re IWB the lanyard is not really discreet? Or am I missing something?
 
I've carried my mammoth ivory Mnandi loose in my right pocket for years. It’s not totally pristine anymore, but hardly looks used. A few scratches now and then add character.

Sometimes I keep a lanyard on my CRK knives and sometimes I take it off. When I do have one on, I tend to tuck it down alongside the knife, not sticking out where it could snag. It's still handy for thumbing up and pulling the knife out by it, and it does give me a length of cord if I feel I need to unwrap it for a safety loop around my wrist -- say, around water.

Dan, I generally carry my Mnandi to the left in my left shirt pocket, under the flap. Another obvious location that few people notice. It's a really nice little knife. :D

I like hearing that! I've been very tempted to rotate my ivory mnandi with my zebrawood mnandi (loose in my pocket).
 
Does anybody who uses the calfskin leather pouch keep the clip on also or are you supposed to remove it?

I carry mine with a Jetbeam C light this way in my front right pocket, unbeatable couple for the everyday work :D

I carry my Large Regular Seb clipped to the right pocket of my BDUs every day on duty, and to the right pocket of whatever else I'm wearing off duty.

I removed the lanyard immediately upon arrival. I knew I would; I tried a Passaround Sebenza before I bought mine. ;)

BTW, Mine are usually clipped to my right front pocket.
 
I carry my Mnandi clipped to my shirt pocket, also. It works great. I carry either my large regular bg 42 Sebenza or my classic small Sebenza in my back right pocket with my billfold. This works great.
