Everyone is different. Whether it's clipped to your left pocket, right, back or just floating around in your bag.
I just started clipping my knives to my back pocket. You'd think it would hurt when sitting down, but i don't even notice my paramilitary 2......

How do you carry your knives????

I carried almost exclusively clipped inside my waistband behind my right hip for a long time. It makes small knives like the Native completely disappear, larger knives like the Military can be practically forgotten until you need them. It's stealthy, it's comfortable. I've been out of work for awhile and found myself clipping to my right front pocket, not sure what facilitated the change, but it's been more pocket than waistband lately.

My Opinel generally goes in my coin pocket.

I agree inside the waistband is quite comfortable, I stopped carrying like that after I started wearing a button up over my t-shirt (partly because it was a little harder to get un-clipped mainly personal preference though) now I usually carry clipped to the front right pocket (tip up)

I always clip in my back right pocket as far right as I can so its out of the way yet easily accessed. I work on cars so to avoid scratches I keep them out of my front pockets. With my wallet in the same pocket I never notice a weight difference so its totally comfortable, and being off to the side I never sit on it.

Removed the clip from my Dragonfly. Now it rides in the bottom of my pocket unnoticed. Never liked clips as they tear up my hand.

I carry in front right pocket tip up for most of my knives. Some get carried in rear right pocket tip down to the right side if they are bulky.

Deep pocket carry, inside my wallet or in a sheath attached to my belt. No clips for me . . . ever. Too many horror stories of lost knives.

Interesting topic.

I used to carry clipped in my left front pocket - tip up - with the spine of the knife against the back of my pocket. I'm left handed)

I recently found some Benchmade sheaths that clip closed and can be worn horizontally. I took the clip off my 300SSN and wear it about 11 o'clock horizontally with the opening facing front. It's been working out very well. I forget it's there but when I need it, it's easy to get out and I'm not scared of losing it at all.

With the pocket clip I was worried I'd end up losing a knife one day.

Always clipped in my right front pocket. I usually carry a Leatherman Juice as well, in my left front pocket. I have a Leatherman charge that I carry sometimes on weekends and I have occasionally clipped it in my waistband just above my right front pocket.

I normally carry my knives in a belt sheath. I lost a brand new knife years ago clipped to my pocket.

Depends on the knife and where I am. I always have a knife in my right pocket, either in a pocket sheath or clipped. On the weekends, I usually carry two, with one clipped on the left pocket.

right front pocket for the main use knife, on occasions when I can't have a firearm on me I'll put another in my left pocket. Oh yea and I always bend my clips in for extra retention so they are always clipped to the pocket, unless I don't want anyone to know I have a knife on me then they wll just go in the pocket.

Front right pocket, or top front right pocket in blue jeans so that my shirt will mostly cover it. And when it doesn't my black belt will blend in with the black handle of the knives I carry there so it remains unnoticed.

If it has a clip then on my waistband on my right thigh in the front, never found clipping a knife to my pocket comfortable

If no clip then in my front right pocket with my wallet

How do you guys feel comfortable having your knives and wallets in your back pocket? Apart from the sitting issue, it's very easy to steal something out someone's back pocket. I could never feel safe with it in my back pocket
