How do you carry your PM2?

Tip up. I've always carried that way on any knife that gives that option.

I typically prefer tip up carry for all my tactical knives... when the knife is clipped to my front right pocket, the spine of the blade is placed against the crease/seam of the pocket. In theory, this should prevent any accidental blade openings while being pocketed and it allows for me to slip my index finger down the back of the the handle (instead of the blade) when extracting the knife from my pocket.

Curious if you guys like the tip up or tip down carry on the Paramilitary 2?

Tip down. Always have for 10 plus years. Don't see any real tactical advantage unless you have a blade that opens when pulled out of the pocket. Combat jiujitsu are you a student of Professor Sauers? I train at one of his schools here in CT. Keith Owen is coming in June for a seminar.

I'm typically a tip up kind of guy but on some knives tip down just works better. I tried mine both ways and settled on tip up on this knife. It just feels more natural to me and I like the way it sits in the hand better with the clip in the tip up position. I love this knife by the way!

Yes I am Dooku. I train at Morse Jiu-Jitsu in Henderson, KY.....we had a seminar with Professor Owen last year and he is amazing! Great personality!

Yeah, what he said.

I generally carry my smaller knives tip up and my PM2 and larger knives tip down. That way, when you grab your knife, your fingers are right next to the thumbhole/stud already.

Most knives should be carried tip up, as God intended, because the thumb naturally lands on the Spydie hole or thumb stud when you stick your thumb in the pocket to remove the knife.

I carry mine tip down, but only because I carry it on my "weak" side. Tip down works best for me, because I transfer the knife from my left to right hand.

Tip up only because when gripping the knife I would rather have the pocket clip dig into the meat of my hand rather than the top of my hand, near the fingers. I also like having the option of ghetto waving it of my pocket.

I carry it the way it comes. Tip down, back right pocket so it can't open in my pocket. Just got use to that setup, it works for me. Wish the Sage had the option. I tried tip up in the front right pocket where my cell phone rides but was not diggin the contact with the knife every time I pulled my phone out. My back right pocket just seems more natural.

That's great. I train at Manchester Bushido here in CT. We are a Pedro Sauer school as well.
