How do you carry your PSK?

But does anyone have an old one that doesnt work!!! Theyre so ruddy reliable, arent they! Plus, IF i was to make a capsule, I probably woudnt want an old scratched up one so Id buy a NEW maglite & gut that!! D'oh!!
I HAVE actually made a very good plastic version of the capsule out of a push-up glue stick container. (Called a Pritt Stick here in Merry olde England!)
I sealed the bottom with plenty of epoxy & a push on cap from the plumbing section of a hardware store & the top screws o anyway, I just waterproofed it more with some sealant.

I was browsing through my latest Cabela's catalog this weekend and found this:

This looks like a good alternative to the TAD capsule and it's about 1/2 the price. There's also a compass built into the cap. Has anybody tried one of these?

Here's the link to the product on the Cabela's site (where I stole the picture from):

Thanks.

I had used one a few years ago and had it stuffed full of diamond head matches. Upon twisting it open the matches ignited. I had this torch which i had to drop scorching my camp table. :o . It may have been a fluke but I don't stuff it full anymore. Just giving you a heads up is all... :D

I'm using the black anodized aluminum version. The black paint intruded into the compass, but it's still usable and accurate. I use it to carry quartered spark-lite tinder, a few hooks, shot and leader line. I carry it in an old Gerber Gators belt pouch along with a utility folder and BSA Hotspark.

But.....Bloody Hell!! Those are illegal in the UK too!! D'oh!!
I seem to remember something about Kubotans having folding shurikens inside them! (Bugger! Cant have Shurikens either!!)
At this rate, when I go camping/hiking etc, I'll have to take a big ole blunt butter knife!!
The plasic Prittsticks work quite well, though & I also have a couple of screw-top "pods" that are really for holding your paper money & lighter when swimming on holiday. They look rather like the thing that Denzel Washington put C4 in and stuck up the bad guys arse in "Man On Fire". I think he called it a Charger?

I carry the Adventure Medical Pocket Medic and Pocket Survival Pak. I have found that if I face the tops toward each other, with the "flaps" on opposite sides, they just fit in the cargo pocket of my 5.11s without overlapping and becoming too thick.

Various other pieces of gear, including knives and flashlights, are distributed elsewhere about my person.
