In your pocket loose, or in a pouch? Clipped to your pocket or waistband, or in a belt sheath?

I have been carrying mine in a CRK pouch with the clip removed. The reason for the pouch was to have it deep in my pocket, because I really don't want to lose it:o Over the last few months, I have found that I do not like having to take the pouch out of my pocket, then the knife out of the pouch. It just takes to long, when I want or need my knife, I want it now. I usually just carry everything clipped to my pocket, but the sebbie is the most expensive folder I have had and I am just paranoid about losing it. What do you folks do, and has anyone ever lost a sebenza?

Blue jeans or shorts? ==> Clipped.

Dress pants? ==> Pocket Pouch.

My pouches have worn/stretched spots where the clip will eventually wear through. C'est La Vie. Pouches are $15 from CRK. Saves me from having to take clips on/off.

Do you leave the lanyard on with the clip? I'm not sure if I like it sticking out of my pocket, but it makes it easy to get out of the pouch.

I carry a small sebenza in a mission wallet almost constantly when out of the house. But due to the concerns of speed and ease of use I have started to carry another in my front right pocket clipped there. Sometimes a large sebenza sometimes a plain- the one in the mission wallet is usually a calvary. I have both lanyard on and off. I like both and switch often. sometimes the front pockett spot will be taken by another- but it will be clipped to the pockett....

Large regular clipped. . .right front pocket.

Mayonized large. . .leather pouch. . .right front pocket.

Large Classic. . .G2 neck sheath.

The all have lanyards. No other way. :)

Mostly I carry my large classic in the CRK leather sheath. Sometimes clipped in my pocket. The sheath seems best. I always know where my knife is and can easy get to it. Plus it is always protected while in the sheath.

I carry all my daily carry knives (not counting "weekend-yard work" folders) in a pocket holster. I decided long ago that since my work requires that I wear a suit daily, carrying a large folder clipped to my pants wasn't feasible, or proved to be unwieldy. Hence, the pocket holster.

Since the clip becomes superfluous in this mode of carry, it's removed and stored. By using this mode of carry I also am never faced with the dilemma of preferring a tip down carry, and then falling in love with a tip up knife. All my knives are therefore carried tip down.

The holster is made by Robert Mika, and it's durable as can be, and more than affordable-it's just plain cheap!

I usually clip both my small and large Sebenzas to the front right pocket. If I'm going somewhere dressy/classy, then I'll carry the small one in the leather pouch and just put it in my pocket.

I put the clip back on mine and carried it to the store. It seems to be a better clip than most and rode securely the whole time.

I took the lanyard off and I carry my large Sebbie clipped in my right front pocket.

Clipped to my front right pocket, lanyard attached with skull beads. Used my Sebbie tonight to slice some sausages my sister brought back from Germany along with some great Weissbier.

I have two small regular Sebbies. The plain w/stonewashed blade has no lanyard (Ren took it off before he put it up for sell). However, my unique graphic with mirror polished blade still has it's lanyard. I carry them clipped in the right front pocket but on occasion they ride clipped in my right rear pocket.

Clipless in pouch in jean utility thigh pocket. Relatively easy to pull out since it is vertical carry.

I no longer EDC since I work on federal property (got 'busted' for carrying a knife in the trunk of my car having just purchased it - they were understanding once; they won't let it pass a second time).

The thing about the pouch is that it leaves a bit of debris on the blade. Doesn't affect the action but can be an eyesore.

Cheers.

Small regular goes IWB about 90% of the time. Just behind my right hip. Very comfortable. My large rides in a G2 sheath while at work(fire dept). If I'm in a suit, the small gets clipped in my left inside jacket pocket, or I go with the Umfaan in the pouch up front.
All three have lanyards. Milspec green paracord on the 2 bigger ones,
stock on the Umfaan.
