How do you carry your small fixed blade?

Neck carry is always convenient (if the sheath allows it...), pocket carry is great (once again, the sheath must allow it or better, be specifically designed for it, e.g. money clip), belt carry (vertical at the rear right mostly, for me) will do with a practical sheath (not so common...). Notice how the sheath is paramount ? And, yes, neck carry should be "tip up", because that's how you get all the advantages : lots of Kydex and FRN sheathes (delivered with and intended to) eventually do not qualify for this intended use.

Tough to beat a pocket sheath for edc...

A well designed slip sheath is all you need, IMO. I like to be discreet when carrying a fixed, so this is what I go with...

I find that with this method, my pocket pinches the sheath to hold it in place well enough. Sort of along the lines of sash carry where the tension of your belt holds down the knife.

MOCraig and DAVE_M who made your sheaths?
I'm going to try horizontal carry with a rodent solution I have on the way.
I'm debating between leather and kydex. I like that with kydex I can flip it around the clip for different carries, or remove it and use the sheath in my pocket.. But leather looks better to me. Maybe the Rodent solution might be too big for Pocket carry anyway?

I carry my IZULA sometimes as a neck knife with a Paracord lanyard or on my belt horizontal using a Bladetec clip.

My sheath was made by Skystorm Leatherworks.

I carry my RS in a leather sheath from Wild Boar (the #4 fits perfectly), I looped a dangler onto it and it rides in my pocket, definitely not too big but that'll depend on how tight your pants are ;)

I forgot this in my pocket after my last hike, but its my favorite way to carry this one. Works fantastic when wearing a hip belt on a backpack.

Just in this quickie pocket sheath I made, heavy 10oz leather so as not to get my knife bloody accidentally.
