How do you define a "Rescue" knife?

That is quite a machine. I'm surprised it doesn't have a combo or serrated blade. It looks perfect for hunting as well.

I'm glad there are no serrations, but I think you're right that it would be ok for hunting. I carry this as an edc in my rotation.
 
fixed blade, good protective guard, glass breaker pommel with large hardened but cap piece to protect your hand while you are clearing the shattered glass from the window frame,
belt cutter off course,
and perhaps a draw pointed saw on the back to cut out laminated glass ( becomes more and more used in luxury cars even for side windows )

and tactical Orange off course :-)
