How Do You Display Your Knives?

Thanks, When you have been collecting for over 40 years, it does not
take long, especially if you are member at BladeForums.:)

Yeah I know. These guys are evil.

This month I've bought:

Chris Reeve Small Sebenza
Bradley Alias II
SOG Twitch II

I'm going broke over here!

I believe that like guns , knives should be under lock and key when not being carried or used . No one screws around with them , and casual observers dont know of their existance .

Chris

Jim: I don't see any spyderco or kershaws. Also, do you have any large fixed blades. I love your custom knives!

One working fixed by Robert Dark, one Halibut by Matt Bailey, no Kershaws or Spydies. They were not around when I first started collecting, now I collect mostly custom folders.

Got any information on that Ikea box? We are going there this weekend:D!

Here's one similar to mine:

You have to build them yourself, that's what makes 'em cheap. (My son loves building them.) IKEA also changes the style & material on these occasionally, so whatever you find probably won't be the same. When you go into the store, ask any employee to look up "FIRA", and they can tell you where to find them.

thx - cpr

I don't really display any of my knives, unless you count hiding one in each room as displaying. They're more functional than they are collectible.

I dont display them. They are locked away. A Police friend of mine advised me to keep them locked up for legal reasons and to only display them when needed and when i'm present. Treat them like firearms he said, would you want them getting into the wrong hands?

Are all of the drawers in your kitchen locked too?
