The Irish eat it with cabbage, apparently.

I prefer apple sauce as a garnish, and roast potatoes, roast parsnips, peas and carrots as an accompaniment. Mustard is nice if you eat it cold on a sandwich.

Interesting. I guess I live in a bubble , to be honest I never imagined that other countries ate bacon hehe.
Ask most Americans a word association test with "bacon" and the other word would be "eggs" as bacon and eggs is a pretty traditional breakfast here.
I like to use bacon in a pot of beans (pinto beans and bacon , basically a Southern treat).

With my pudding. How can I have any pudding if I don't eat my meat?

I once had pork loin sliced into one inch thick medallions which were then wrapped with bacon slices (from the pork belly) and grilled.

They were quite good. Sadly, I had this at a restaurant and never got the recipe.

If you took bacon away from a southen woman's kitchen (like my Grandmother) she wouldn't know what to do. Bacon adds a great flavor to beans, (pinto, kidney, limas & navy) fresh greens, cabbage, green beans, black eyed peas, and biscuits and gravy just wouldn't be biscuits and gravy if the gravy wasn't made with a roux of browned flour and bacon fat. As Emeril says "pork fat rules!" (btw, my cholesteral is 165 :D )

With chest pain :( :D

I like it with breakfast mainly, my gall bladder can't take fried foods any more. Had some yesterday with hash browns, a western omelette, scrapple and toast with butter.

Baked!

Better taste, less greasy, and less problems with it curlin' n burnin'. (Plus it's called BACON......not fryun...) :D

There's not really a "recipe" for that. Just get some nice pork medals, wrap in slices of bacon tied with string, and grill until done. :)

I don't think anyone's mentioned BLT's yet. Toast some rye bread, add lots of bacon, leaf lettuce and tomato slices, add just a very thin slice of onion, throw some mayo on the toast and you're all set. That's a great way to eat bacon. Put on enough bacon and it's a whole meal.

wrapped around waterchestnuts, sprinkled/covered w/ brown sugar, and broiled. basting with brown sugar/bacon fat as needed.

When I went to the UK on a business trip, I enjoyed the large, free breakfasts in the hotel. I was surprised a bit by the bacon though. On the plus side, it was much meatier than most cuts of American bacon. But on the minus side, it wasn't fried up to a nice crisp, I suppose because of the lower fat content.

I don't think there is a bad way to serve bacon. And thanks to lucky genetics and an active life, I can enjoy 'em all!

I'll eat it any which way I can get it... as long as it is cooked long enough. I like it crispy. However..... do NOT fry bacon naked! (I don't really need to explain that one, do I? :D )

Not unless we want this thread to go to W&C LOL :D

Yea on that   two thumbs.

Bacon and eggs for me.

I also put some oven baked bacon strips on my turkey sandwiches once in a while.

Sadly, as my cholesterol needs to stay low, I now eat turkey bacon and turkey sausage. Not bad stuff if cooked correctly.

I like honey glazed bacon wrapped around some wild turkey shishcabobs with as much fat taken off the bacon as possible, grilled to perfection

No no no no, Pancakes and bacon. I'm not really a traditional breakfast person and don't eat eggs often. I usualy have toast with peanutbutter or fruit and cottage cheese, or leftover pizza.

However, About every other weekend my 5 year old nephew comes over to stay the night on saturday and he likes pancakes so sunday morning we have pancakes and bacon.

Wild Turkey shish kabobs? How do you get the bacon to stick to the bottle?
