I have been steering away from bacon usually, because it is a Pain in the butt to pick the fat off and leave the actual meat. I can't stand eating fat.

I take some jalapenos, gut 'em, stuff 'em with creme cheese, wrap 'em in bacon and toss 'em on the grill! I also love the traditional BLT, with some onion and avacado...

A.W.U.K. The thing I miss most in Canada, is proper English Back Bacon. I am going to have to try and cure my own.

Incidentally, I attended Birmingham College of Food! I lived in Shirley.

Sliced thick and fried up with eggs. I like thick slices of buttered toast with that as well as some good preserves.

Yeah - it's a BLT for me too, especially with fresh tomatoes right from the garden. I also like bacon wrapped around scallops and grilled.

Did you ever eat anything from Arby’s with bacon? I ordered a Bacon, Beef, ‘n Cheddar sandwich. I was surprised how they cook the bacon. They deep-fry it. But don’t worry. Deep fried bacon is heart-friendly. It will go right to your heart and make friends!

Agree with the posts about the BLTs, except I like to add a fried egg and slice of cheese. My favorite breakfast meal. Yum!
