how do you fit scales to a concave shape in the bolsters so they are tight and pretty

Hi, I make a lot of guards and bolsters for my knives and I like to dovetail them and slant them and otherwise make them special. I see some beautiful knives with the bolsters ground out on the small wheel in a concave half circle with the knife scales fitted to the concave. I have been trying to devise a simple solution to doing this. My first thought was to mark both using a circle template and grind them to the lines. Is there a better way to do this. If you are going to do this on alot of knives maybe the investment in time to set this up would be worth it. I have not advanced to this level in knife making yet, but Art makes some nice looking stuff.
