How Do You Get a Perfect Grind?

I use a 2x72 and use the shoulder file jig to hold on to. The first thing I do is establish the center line with a sharp bevel like the 5 inch Damascus blade below. Turn it around and start the flat grind. I use sharp 80 grit belts since they don't fight me like the 36 grits do and I hate doing this step twice. Everyone does it different which shows you there are many ways to accomplish the same results.
