How do you guys carry your ESEE 6 on your belt?

here are a few more pics, i dont think its overpriced at all for the quality of the build, i've got a set of the seconds and the regular ones. both work very well for wearing for extended times, 4 or 5 days without taking it off is no problem. it dosnt flop around when you draw the knife just regular thumb push and your good.

I have an ESEE/RAT 4 with the molle back for the sheath. With some 2in wide nylon strapping a heated nail and some Chicago screws made it into a drop leg. Take a strip of the strapping and feed it through the little plastic slot at the top. Fold the nylon over using the least amount of material that you can and screw it in place. Then put on a belt and fold the other end of the nylon over itself and past the belt. Adjust it until the knife hangs where you want it, mark it, and screw in place. Hopefully these were clear enough. Maybe I'll find a way to get some pics up later.

The molle back is really good, even when running it doesnt bounce much.

Another pic of crickets 6 with molle back, someone had to do it;

The resin band wristwatch is kind of incongruous with the whole primitive thing he's got going.

Yeah I use the molle back setup like cricket's. (But I Ah put on a bit more clothes) The molle back rides low (I did'nt like the high ride of the molle clips/locks either) And the 6 just pops out with a push of yer thumb. enjoy edgy.

Hum..crickets ah ...primitive? pic sure seems to be showin up alot..
Looks like ya got yer self a fan club or sompthin there cricket..lol:D

The pantie thread made him near immoral on the esee boards, have to give him that much

I think If for some reason I can't get the clip, I will order the MOLLE system... heck, I may order It anyway. :D

i also have the molle back from ESEE and i've been very happy with it. i think it'll solve all your problems and give you even more options with the molle system. it's well built and i also think it can make the retainment of the sheath a bit tighter if you want, by screwing the screws down a bit more than necessary to just secure it to the sheath.

a few mounting options,

My 5 on a molle back. Rides the same as my 6 does. I carry my 6 this way now, without the pouch. Nice, clean, works. The clip plate is great on the five and rigged up to the 4, but i dislike it on the 6. The plate gets in the way of my thumb when I push to draw the knife. I could probably dremel the offending bits out of the way, but I just use the molle back, or deal with it when I clip it up.
