I'm looking at a small fixed blade knife like the BM 210/211 or a BRKT micro and am curious how you guys carry these? I'm in Ohio so concealed carry is illegal, so some of knife must be visible. That being said, I'd still like a little discretion. Are there slim pocket sheaths with clips for pocket carry?

TIA
Dave

Dave---This probably won't help you but I carry my Leu kozuka cross draw, tucked into my pants with a piece of para cord looped around my belt. So, the knife is really not concealed. You can have a specialized sheath made. Good luck.

I use necker sheaths, or belt carry in sheaths. Some of my pants have pockets on the thigh which are perfect to drop a small knife with sheath into.

I carry my Bark River Blackwater Boot knife in a custom made pocket sheath that is just a heavy leather pouch style.

I carry one of my own with a 4 inch blade in a kydex sheath Eric from Onscene in my house coat regularly. I don't notice any weight and this knife sees alot of use. These kydex sheaths are nice when belt carry is not an option and work well with smaller knives.

I edc my Greco baby whisper in a kydex sheath with a small tek lok on my belt from Red Hill Sheaths. Bruce Good @redhillsheaths.com is great to work with, fast turnaround great sheath. Check him out .....

When I do carry a small fixed blade,it's usually carried horizontally on a belt,in the small of my back.

The new CLB-design from Boker has a flat Kydex sheath with no Tek-Lok. The knife and sheath slip in behind my wallet, taking up about the same space as a comb and is completely concealed.

What is up with that dirty Glock??!!!!!

My fixed blades are either neck knives or old fashioned leather sheathed
I think the laws are the same here in California===>
"worn openly ABOUT the belt"
Whatever "about" means.....

J33---Yea, clean up that Glock! You have that Busse all shiny! Nice Stuff---thanx for the pic!

On the belt, coat pocket, even a necker or mercharness style... the options are many. I find it convenient to belt carry.

Neckers for me- although for a couple of weeks I've been carrying a Bark River Lil' Bird and Trout on my hip. I am still not totally comfortable with it but it is not that intrusive. Sitting down most of the day is not good for me with a necker as my head is too big (130th percentile for adult North American males)- the paracord has to be big enough to get around my head and the handle ends up around my belly button when seated.

Those that wear their fixed blade inside the pocket in a sheath, how comfortable is it sitting down with the knife in there? I don't wear a belt, I have a Gerber Gator fixed blade, it is fair size with around 3.5-4" blade, I took it fishing with me this summer and just stuffed the knife and sheath in my side pocket. It was sort of like having a wrench or something stuffed in my pocket, it was pretty awkward.

I carry my Busse Game Warden in an in-pocket leather sheath when wearing jeans or my Busse Active Duty IWB at the small of the back in kydex. Both sheaths are by Rainwalker.

I carry my Cold Steel Kobun either in my boot, or clipped to the back of my belt, and riding inside my pants in the small of my back.
