I'm trying to figure out the date for an old Buck 110A knife.

Going off this chart, I still can't find info on the knife.

On the first line, it says: "BUCK".
Below that the next line says: "110A"
The third and final line says: "U.S.A."

Does anyone know if it predates the date code system? Better yet, any clue on what date or a date range this Buck model 110A was released?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks that makes sense.

I have never seen one that was marked 110A
Is it possible that it is marked 110 with an inverted V ?
That would make it a 1988 model.
There are a lot of knowledgeable fellows over at the Buck
sub forum .
I would post this question there.
