How do you IWB carry your EDC Busse?

I EDC a sidearm EVERYDAY. I It's a Glock, I keep my blade on the side as the weapon. Gotta kep the off side clear for magazine and light access. If carrying a S&W wheelgun, then the speed loader sits right in front of the revolver and the blade moves to the off side. Kepping that reload at the very best position rules. Been carrying these combos for years, so with the 30+ years of carrying, I instinctively know where each is. Wife always noticed the different calluses on each side, but she knew each was for her, my, and other's protection. Holsters and sheaths are both kydex and leather, without extra retainer devices, so draw is very instinctive.

Hope this helps.

Yup SAR5, Jerry's favorite ;)

Got one for my WHC also, they're from Steelnut, I order them without an attachment, I have a drawer full of loops and teklocs. The pancakes ride better then the tacos IMO. The handle swell acts as a stop, I hold the handle between my thumb and middle finger, use my index finger to steady the sheath, works great for me.

The Culti rode IWB for the whole trip last year in that sheath, I forget I have it and have to remember to remove it prior to getting near the commode :o

Haaaaa,,exactly!!, Thanks for the info Brother!! nice pics:thumbup::thumbup:

i have carried a public defender in oku pants with the pull dot system for years now. it is easily done and have carried my force one that way as well but didn't really need a blade that size and sold it. just got my boss street this week so i'm going to need a sheath for it that is iwb capable.

interesting to see what other people are using. anyone try the blade-tec clips yet?

Bigbrownfarm, We have the same "bowie rule" here. Are you in Oklahoma by chance??

THis is a big knife and gun state.

Sweet home Alabama. Very gun friendly state - every police officer I have asked says he is grateful for good citizens who carry guns concealed. The bowie knife rule is a throw back to another time, but it's still the law.

Yes, if you mean the BTK (Blade Tech Klip) pictured below. I tried it and quickly went back to Tek-Lok for attaching to a belt.

IME the BTK was not reliably secure on my nylon BDU belt. If I wasn't careful to pull straight up the belt would pry open the Klip and the whole knife-and-sheath rig would come off the belt, instead of the knife exiting the sheath. That is an unforgivable failure in my world.

Results will no doubt vary with retention strength of the sheath. However, since Okuden sheaths are so secure in holding the knife, the Klip was insufficient to the task.
